After hours non-period food and beverages may be consumed in period correct containers only!

At all times, period clothing must be worn.

Those who are found to be willfully disobeying these rules may be asked to leave the encampment.

Please remember that people are putting a lot of time and effort into the creation of a living history environment.   If somebody then comes along wearing thongs, drinking stubbies and eating a slice of pizza he (or she) may have a jolly good time but are destroying everything the living historian worked hard for by doing so.

Also we would like to point out that at MARE NOSTRVM we encourage and prefer a non smoking environment.
